The Pittsburg Penguins win the Stanley Cup Finals last nite after a thrilling Game 7. This final was a rematch of last yeard as they faced the Detroit Redwings. The hungry and passionate defeated the Wings in Joe Louis arena in downtown Detroit in a 2-1 desicion. The game came down to the final second as Penguins' goalie, Marce Andre Fleury, made a crucial save with 2.o seconds left as time expired. If hadn't of dived this game would have taken an extra period. The Pens Maxime Talbot both of there two goals and Evgeni Malkin won the Con Smyth award for playoff mvp.

Cops raid LA rappers, Nipsey Hussle's party. L.A.P.D. was doing a gang raid and following a LA street gang. The club owner was presumed to be a member of the gang. Over 40 people were arrested varrying from different charges.

NOT WELCOME IN ATL

Only being released from prison a month ago, Micheal Vick was released by the Atlanta Falcons today. The feel that Vick doesn't fit with their organization anymore since being released from prison.

Vick is serving the remainder of his prison sentence on dogfighting charges under house arrest in Virginia, was released by the team today.

"Michael remains suspended by the NFL," Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff said in a statement. "However, in the event NFL commissioner Roger Goodell decides to reinstate Michael, we feel his best opportunity to re-engage his football career would be at another club.

"Our entire organization sincerely hopes that Michael will continue to focus his efforts making positive changes in his life and we wish him well in that regard."

They were unable to make a trade to the rights to Vick so they cut him. I like this move by the Falcons and I like it better because they have changed their whole scheme in ATL and right now Matt Ryan is playing good football. Lets no forget he did win Offensive Rookie of the YEAR last year. I would definitely like to see Vick reinstated to the league cause its been boring without him. The NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell, says that he will not consider reinstating Vick until he completes his 23 month house arrest sentence.

"Once he's concluded that, I will make a judgment based on what he tells me and what I can determine from speaking to others and a final background check on this and make a determination at the right time," Goodell said.


Possible fits for Vick: Dallas, Minnesota and Oakland. I love to see Vick with both Minnesota and Adrain Peterson and in Oakland with the black and chrome and Darren McFadden.

CLUTCH IS CLUTCH

Game 4 was once again another thriller that the Lakers survived with heart, defense and experience. Despite the thoughts of Magic coach Stan Van Gundy, experience had to do a lot with this game and the wins in the past. Kobe got a lot of help from Derek Fisher at the end of regulation and overtime with two clutch threes. Trevor Ariza splashed two threes along with a steal that lead to a dunk that brought the Lakers back and tied the game in the third quarter. the Lakers were down 12 at halftime and quickly came back by Trevor's play. Yeah Kobe had 32 7 rebounds and 8 assist but he didnt really take over till overtime. He did have 16 in the first half though but thats just Kobe DOIN WORK. Shout out to Spike LEE for that movie too, if you haven't seen it look it up and watch. I definitely believe that the Lakers have a dynasty in the West and that they have what it takes to continue to keep going to the Finals and winning it.

Lakers vs Magic Game 2


Sorry ya'll I already had this posted already but I've been having some layout problems so I'm ready posting it...different day different BLOG.

As ya'll know my Lakers took played Game 2 on Sunday and defeated the Magic in overtime. Kobe scored 29 and 8 assist and Pau Gasol added 19 along with Lamar Odom. They Lakers survived to make it to overtime even though they gave up an uncontested lob attempt to Courtney Lee from Heidu. Dwight Howard set an excellent screen on Kobe who was saggin off Courtney Lee due to his struggling offensive performance. Game 3 is tonite @ 830 in Orlando as Kobe remains focused and continues on the road for his 4th championship ring.
